MICHAEL COOK is a military veteran who spent eleven years in the country of Japan. As a fledgling author he has self-published Are You Struggling to Keep from Drowning, Wrestling Dad, and Three Hundred and One Desert Haikus in 2025. Mike grew up in southeast Missouri with a deep passion for reading and learning. He holds an undergraduate degree in English from Chaminade University of Honolulu and graduate degrees in Management, Information Technology, and Engineering Management. He considers himself a life-long learner through both formal and informal education, which has been major contributors to his success in achieving his goals.
